Connected Media Inc. has been in business for eight years. Opening as a one-woman show in 2015 as Lakeland Connect, an online newspaper, it quickly gained popularity with the local region and grew to become the most popular source of news & information in the Lakeland.

Seeing the potential in the company, Jena’s husband Chad joined the team in 2016.

The business continued to expand over the years, the company has four full-time employees and three part-time contractors.

In those years, Lakeland Connect recognized the consumer need for digitalizing their businesses in a variety of ways; including advertising, websites, social media, and asset design.

As such the company changed its name to encompass all things digital.

In 2020, the company became Connected Media Inc. Along with its flagship product Lakeland Connect, the company continues to offer professional digital services, timely access to Lakeland region news & information, as well as social media management, website design, hosting and management and a full suite of digital products.
